2026-06-10｜Foundation-Supported Liver Cancer Immunotherapy Research Published in International Journal
A liver cancer immunotherapy study by the Chang Gung medical team has been published in the international journal Journal of Cancer (2026; 17(6): 1220-1228). The study investigated the predictive value of genotypes for immunotherapy efficacy and side effects in patients with hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma. The Foundation provided academic guidance and professional consultation throughout the research, and is gratefully acknowledged in the publication. We will continue to follow and support liver cancer research to improve treatment outcomes for patients.

The Foundation has launched the “Liver Cancer Patient Treatment Support Program,” which subsidizes the first course of self-paid targeted therapy or immunotherapy for liver cancer patients facing financial hardship, helping them transition back into treatment covered by the National Health Insurance system.
